Now, before we go any further, I must link you to the official homepage of the Stealth, OK? Click here! I know what you're thinkng; That's not a road car!! It's a Le Mans car with numberplates. Nope. It is a fully roadworthy GT race car. This is the sort of car you drive to the track, swap the plates for numbers then race it. And then lap everything in sight. Twice. It's the sort of car that's called a stealth because it's black, not because it's stealthy in any way whatsoever. Pulling up to someone's house in this has the same effect as beaming into a party or parking a harrier jump jet on the lawn. People are just staggered, and justly so. With a Chevrolet small block V8 behind the two seats, the thing is probably the noisiest car you'll ever hear. That's a good thing, as the exhaust note is just a taster of what the bloody great V8 can do. What it can do is rather a lot, propelling a top spec high geared car very close to the McLaren F1's top speed of 241 mph... OK. BIG picture time. Like I said. BIG picture time J As I have said before, this car is a bit of a misnomer, as it is not the least bit stealthy in any way; the cambridge dictionary says the definition of stealth is this: movement which is quiet and careful in order not to be seen or heard, or secret or indirect action. Now, the stealth is NOT quiet or carefull, it can be seen and heard miles away and it is very, very very direct in what it does. And what it does is this; go very, very, very very very fast... It's not even all that secret, as it holds the outright lap record at castle coombe, and it came within three tenths of a second of the McLaren F1's 0-100-0 speed... Not bad for a car most of us have never heard of, is it? OK...
